“If we ever get out of here? I’m gonna kill you.”
Dean looked over at David with a heavy glare. It was almost like the man was pouting. It was pathetic. Not that Dean wasn’t equally upset to be where he was, but pouting? The man was worse than Sam and that was really saying something.
“Would you friggin’ relax?” Dean snapped back, rolling his eyes a bit. “It’s just a bunch of vampires. I’ve been in worse.”
“Yeah, David, seriously—so have we,” Christopher piped up from where he was lounged on one of the cots in the room. They had been stuck in the room for over an hour, waiting for the cavalry to come in and get them. “Suck it up. What’s the worst they’re gonna do to us? Kill us?”
“Do either of you remember that vampires happen to eat people, or has that little fact managed to escape your memories?”
Dean shrugged. “If they come for us, we lop their heads off. No big deal.”
“Oh, that’s a great plan. That’s a fantastic plan. One small problem.” Dean gave him a look as though to say ‘and that is…?’ David only glared. “They have the swords.”
“Dude. Use your imagination. There are lots of things around here that could be used to take someone’s head off.”
David was silent for a long time, before crossing his arms in front of his chest and sulking even more. “Still killing you.”
“Oh, bite me.”
