In Which Dean Gets Big News

99 sped down the highway in a borrowed car as she made her way to find Dean. She'd been out of the country for two months, so calling him to tell him she wanted to see him wasn't at all odd. Her reason behind it though was. She'd had three weeks to get used to it. Accept it. Sure, she still wanted to shoot his balls off - especially with the damned morning sickness that had hit like bricks - but she was accepting it.
She'd been so busy on her job in Germany that it took awhile to even realize things weren't quite normal with her body. And the moment of sitting in her hotel room, watching the third pregnancy test come up positive, was burned in her mind. The sudden dread. The way her stomach fell. She knew everything was going to be different. Or could be, if alternatives were decided. But that was something she had to discuss with Dean, and she wanted to do it in person - when she had no chance of breaking her identity on the job.
This was her mental state when she pulled the car to a park at the motel Dean and Sam were staying in. She jumped from the car and went to knock on the door, hard. She had already suggested Dean kick Sam out for her arrival. The damn fertile sonuvabitch wouldn't be able to look at his brother for support when she kicked his ass until he felt just as queasy and bloated as she did.
And Sam was gone. He went to the library to do some kind of research that was currently related to the job they were doing, and Dean was waiting for Beth to arrive. He already knew from her tone that this wasn't a social call -- he had learned that much already. He was, however, a bit curious as to what he had done this time to incur the wrath of his awesome secret agent girlfriend. And yes, he was still extremely pleased with himself that he had managed to wind up dating a secret agent. Not even time could kill that one.
He pushed himself up when he heard the angry knock on the door, and opened it, deciding it would probably be best to keep the door between him and her for the time being. He pulled it back so that she could make her way inside, before peaking his head around the corner and looking at her carefully. "What did I do?"
