OOC: Dusting off the Dean

Okay. So. I love and adore canon. Times a thousand. But as I'm just dusting off Dean after a long break from him, writing Canon!Dean isn't exactly looking great. Not that I won't write Canon!Dean occasionally, but I need a bit more of a springboard for him, so I'm going a bit AU instead.

Until the Season 4 premiere, Dean's going to be working off a verse that goes AU after All Hell Breaks Loose Part 1. Dean didn't make his deal to bring back his brother. Bobby stopped him before he could make the deal, and forced him to pick up and move on after Sam's death. Grief turned to vengeance, and Dean's on a total vendetta streak. He kills anything that's not human, and he doesn't give a damn whether they're trying to be a good guy or not. Everything in this verse will be tagged [verse] happiness is a warm gun.

As far as this verse is concerned, maninflannel is Dean's Bobby, and will continue to be in his canon'verse as well. If anyone else is interested in playing one of the canon parts other than Sam, or is interested in being his Canon!canon something, feel free to poke me.

At the moment, Dean's only in muses_w_remotes, but, knowing Dean, that could change.
