I have no idea why I did this.

[Wayward!Dean, for fun, and he decided to do this IC. For fun and hilarity. Enjoy.]

The List
1. Sam Winchester
2. Ben Braedan
3. Alec Winchester
4. Jo Harvelle
5. Bobby Singer
6.Ruby
7. Bela Talbot
8. Anna Scherlacker
9. Amy
10. Castiel

The Questions
1. Four (Jo) invites Three (Alec) and Eight (Anna) to dinner at their house. What happens?
….They have dinner. Not sure how Jo’s cooking is, but probably better than whatever I could come up with.

2. Nine (Amy) tries to get Five (Bobby) to go to a strip club. How?
Well. She’s a lust demon. So—that’s obvious. But I’d also pay cash money to see it.

3. You need to stay at a friend's house for the night. Who do you choose, One (Sam) or Six (Ruby)?
Sam. Though considering my choices are Sam and Ruby I’d probably wind up with both.

4. Three (Alec) falls in love with Six (Ruby), Eight (Anna) is jealous. What happens?
Uhhh—what?

5. Four (Jo) jumps you in a dark alleyway. Who comes to your rescue, Ten (Castiel), Two (Ben) or Seven (Bela)?
None of them. If I’m getting jumped by Jo I probably deserve it.

6. One (Sam) decides to start a cooking show. Fifteen minutes later, what is happening?
Something’s on fire. Why do you think I did all the cooking growing up?

7. Three (Alec) has to marry either Eight (Anna), Four (Jo), or Nine (Amy). Who do they choose?
Amy, probably, all things considered, but I don’t think either of them are the marrying type.

8. Seven (Bela) kidnaps Two (Ben) and demands something from Five (Bobby) for Two's release. What is it?
Well, let’s think about this. Bela is an occult objects dealer, Bobby has a house full of curse boxes. What I don’t get is why she decided Ben would be the ideal way to get this done.

9. Everyone gangs up on Three (Alec), does Three have a chance in hell?
Alec could kick all our asses, so yeah—I’m gonna say he does.

10. Everyone is invited to Two (Ben) and Ten's (Castiel) wedding, except for Eight (Anna). How do they react?
…No. Just—no.

11. Why is Six (Ruby) afraid of Seven (Bela)?
….Pretty sure that one is the other way around considering who has the shiny demon-killing knife.

12. One (Sam) arrives late for Two (Ben) and Ten (Castiel)'s wedding. What happens and why were they late?
I thought I already said no to this.

13. Five (Bobby) and Nine (Amy) get roaring drunk and end up in your house. What happens?
…Can demons get drunk?

14. Nine (Amy) murders Two (Ben)'s best friend. What does Two do to get back at them?
Not sure, but pretty sure the end result is not good.

15. Six (Ruby) and One (Sam) are in mortal danger, only one of them can survive. Does Six save himself or One?
Ruby saves Sam. Because if she doesn’t she knows I’ll shoot her.

16. Two (Ben) and Three (Alec) go camping. For some reason they forget to bring any food. What do they do?
…What do you think they are, idiots? If they don’t have food, they get back in the car and they go get some.

They employed a magic beer bottle, so that Dean would actually have to -listen- to what Sam was saying without cutting him off. And there was a guy on hand to make sure they didn't kill each other. But Sam kind of hit Dean a little harder than he should have and pretty much told Dean that he couldn't do the one thing he knew he could do, which is protect Sam. After that, Dean just shut down, and that was it. I'm trying to dig him out of it. We'll probably make them talk again, but -- as for right now? Dean's like fuck this. I need a beer.

I did see that, ad it was Awwww. Sammy (the one I play from [livejournal.com profile] greypicketfence) is about the same in the current timeline, but she's got a teenage voice that bounces around all the time, waiting for her turn on the playground.

*blinks* Wow. Our Sam took another path? Which is... idk. Dean's still bleeding bad from it, but it opened Sam for both guilt tripping (which Dean's reflexive reaction accomplished, but it got Sam to stop and think) and reasonable arguments (which Sarah eventually provided). But... idk. I see how he'd shut down - but it's something my Dean's been going through like a broken record. I... hope it works out better next try? And idk, I know the last thing that Dean wants now is try to kill Sam, no matter what he says - or does. But again... apparently, different Sam, different post-trauma reaction.

Haa ah yes, Sammy. *nods* I think we filled ourselves with children, pre-teen, and teenage voices, so we're not digging deeper, but in that verse with Cassie and Sarah, children will be definitely forthcoming. A daughter after John Martin, and probably a son for Sam... >.>

Oh, absolutely. Dean has no intention of harming Sam at all. It's just really starting to sink in for him that he might not have that brotherly support anymore, and he needs that, more than anything. And I think the thing is that his Sam was trying to be logical, in the sense that he was trying to say "you can't protect me forever, not without getting yourself killed," but that's not the way Dean heard it, ya know?

Dean has too many children. We're working on Sam, slowly but surely, but for the most part, they're mostly Dean's.

[identity profile] winchesterjerk.livejournal.com 2009-02-11 04:57 pm (UTC)(link)
*sighs* Of course it wasn't what he heard. Then again, it's... Dean's failed to protect Sam at least twi-- three times, majorly. (Once as a kid, twice end of S2, and thrice while he was MIA.) So, yeah, telling him he can't... *flinches*
And over here... What the siren said, about needing Sam to look up to him? That's so damned true. Dean's self-esteem is currently a HUGE negative elevation. His ego that everybody jokes him about? Hahahahah um. NOT THERE. So yeah, Sam's looking up to him is the only thing that stops him from collapsing in on himself. And Sam... does look up to him? Hell, he's turned into who Dean was three years ago! - and yet the words he said under the spell are still true. Which is a hard point to explain and even harder to explain to Dean. *sighs*

*laughs* ahem. *laughs more*
I think we at least got that bit out explicitly. Our Sam's worried that he'll pass on the demon blood thing to his children. Which he emphatically doesn't want to do, obviously. (Which is partly why Dean would willingly give a limb or possibly agree to whatever the angels want of him, no matter how hard, if they'll clear Sam of that, kthx.)

I think it's also the why Sam is doing what he's doing on top of that. Sam is Dean's good thing. He's the one thing that Dean feels he's really done right (he raised the kid, after all), and Sam turned out better than okay as far as Dean was concerned. He still had the heart and the empathy, and all those things that were important for a person to have. And he went to Hell, and he came back changed, and I think he knew that Sam was going to change too, but he didn't expect it to be quite like this. I think he hears Sam saying that he's trying to do it for him, but he doesn't want it like this, he doesn't want his good thing turning into a monster like him.

Well, the one version of Sam who's got a baby on the way doesn't know about the demon blood? So -- he's not really thinking about that? But still -- we're workin' on it.

Re: OOC

[identity profile] winchesterjerk.livejournal.com 2009-02-11 06:43 pm (UTC)(link)
*sighs* Yes. What ... what Sam said under the spell? It totally discounted the fact that Dean is Sam's good thing too. Which is why his loss disbalanced him so. They... both changed. *wry* Sarah tried to tell that to Sam the other day, but generally Sam just reacted pissy at Dean, and she didn't press. But they did both change, and both are ashamed of who they are, anymore, and both are freaking out how bad the other one is taking the changes... and, yeah. *sighs shakes head* Dean just wants, still, things to go back to how they used to be. Even if he knows they won't, and can't, beyond doubt. Still...

*nods* so yeah, definitely that's a stopper, there, whether explicitly realized or not. Sarah's... pretty dead-set on it not happening unless Sam actually wants it, which is probably why their baby comes along later, when the peace... gets to Sam.

... also, please tell me that I'm not allowed to outfit Dean with a mood theme of Oscar Wilde quotes just to tweak Bela's nose...

... that makes three votes yea. I guess, as soon as I get home.

Bela wants to know if he knows what they even mean. If he doesn't, that'll only give her further license to mock, you realize.

Well, The Odyssey is one thing. It's kind of right up Dean's alley, and it's pretty much required reading if you want to pass ninth grade English. Oscar Wilde is something else entirely.

... Dean turned, technically, seventy. That really takes some good memory to remember something from when he was ninth grade in that much detail.

Just sayin'.
