In which Dean needs some air.

It was a nice night, and Dean figured it'd be good to get out for a while.

It's not that he didn't love spending time with Lana and his brother, but that didn't mean he wanted to watch them having romance novel moments all the time. That plus the fact that Lana was pregnant and Dean was already making notes for himself. Like what to do when Sam actually got around to knocking her up because God knows Dean wasn't doing that again. That much was certain.

Sam seemed to be doing well enough on his own, so Dean decided to get out of their hair for a little while, and just go for a walk. He needed a break from the happy couple that wasn't a couple, and he didn't feel like driving so wandering around downtown Smallville seemed to be the aim of the game for the evening. It was quiet, and comfortable, and Dean had to admit, he was starting to like it here. He was starting to like it here a lot.

With the exception of the demon living over the Talon. That he could do without.

He let her shove it off his shoulders, before reaching down to get his hands under her shirt, pushing it upwards -- not to remove it completely, but just enough to let his hands do more than they were.

As soon as the jacket was off, her hands were doing the same, until she decided to break her lips away long enough to help him out of it. Ruby then flipped him and straddled him, sitting up long enough to remove her own shirt. Based on the brief glance she got of his body, she was beginning to wish she'd done this sooner.

Dean continued to move with her, pushing the necessary clothing out of the way and letting his hands search for as much skin as he could, getting as close as possible. Eventually, he collapsed back against the ground, spent and taking the moment to try and catch his breath.

Ruby stared up at the clear, star-filled sky, wondering exactly how that just happened. Yes, she enjoyed it, very much, but the fact was, she just screwed Dean Winchester. Not the brother she would have seen herself with, ever.

It took Dean about five minutes to get control of his faculties, but even then he couldn't really believe it. "Did we just do what I think we did?"

"You mean have hot sex in a public place?" She swallowed before she continued, not sure if she should like the answer. "Oh yeah."

"Oh." Dean nodded for a moment, still trying to process that. "Huh."

The demon didn't reply, just sat up and reached for her pants. She assumed the rest of her clothes were on the other side of him.

He started doing the same, pulling himself together enough to walk out of the alley.
