[There's gonna be a bit of Maddie!related spam. My apologies in advance, Dean is insisting. But! It won't be all at once. He just wanted to do this one in real time.]

[Dean waited until his daughter was asleep before quietly pushing open the door to her room and making his way inside. All that sneaking around while hunting all those years ago had given him some measure of stealth and he was clearly putting it to good use here.

He quietly made his way inside, and let this rest standing up against the side of her dresser, with a bow on the top of the neck, and a card attached that read "Happy birthday, sweetheart."]

[She rolled over with the initial groan that comes with a school morning, and she buried her face in her pillow. Then she remember what day it was and grinned. She rolled over again and sat up, the guitar catching her eye. Her mouth dropped and she stared. Then there was a loud squeal as she jumped out of bed to get on the floor for a closer look.

After a bit, she bolted from her room and ran downstairs in search of her father.]
