Oh, absolutely. Dean has no intention of harming Sam at all. It's just really starting to sink in for him that he might not have that brotherly support anymore, and he needs that, more than anything. And I think the thing is that his Sam was trying to be logical, in the sense that he was trying to say "you can't protect me forever, not without getting yourself killed," but that's not the way Dean heard it, ya know?
